Creative Writing

Inspiring tuition and professional help from a skilled writer.

Attracting enthusiastic reviews, Deborah's courses have helped many aspiring writers to get started and to 'find their own voice'.

Deborah specialises in short stories but courses cover all aspects of writing. Deborah has a B.A. Hons and M.A. in English Literature and a teaching qualification but it's her warm communication style and wide experience of running workshops that make her a great writing tutor.

Encouragement, inspiration and really enjoyable writing exercises are what you'll experience, plus lots of advice, tips and techniques. People come back again and again to her day workshops and her evening classes achieved a retention rate of over 90%.

Individual tuition and support with your writing is also available - see under ‘Help with Manuscripts’.

Deb also runs lively writing workshops for children from 7 years upwards which make writing fun for all abilities. She can deliver in schools or provide workshops for arts festivals, children’s events, literature festivals etc.
